All white diamonds with 0.3 carat weight and heavier come with a GIA Certificate – issued by the Gemological Institute of America. The report provides details about the cut, clarity, and carat weight, along with measurements and other additional information confirming the authenticity and quality of the diamond.
You can select from a variety of diamond shapes and cuts (brilliant, pear, marquise, princess, oval, etc.).
The GIA grades diamonds on a scale of D (colorless) through Z (light color). The diamonds we select for our designs correspond to colors G or F, which means that they are nearly colorless and only a professional gemologist can detect the difference between colors.
Practically all natural diamonds contain small imperfections inside, called inclusions, or on its surface, called blemishes. Clarity refers to the degree to which these imperfections are present. On the scale from included to flawless diamonds, the diamonds in our designs are graded as VS or VVS, which stands for “very slightly” or “very, very slightly included”. Inclusions are minor and only visible under a magnifying glass and not to the naked eye.

If you're like me, you are probably really nervous about buying your engagement ring online, from a company outside the US. I looked around for months before I found Capucinne and they had exactly what I was looking for, there it was just staring at me, I had to have it, it was just too perfect not to. So, I started doing what you're probably doing right now, reading review after review, after review, sweating a little. After a few hours of reading, I was convinced that this was a safe, reputable company and so I reached out to chat with a rep about the process. Once I picked what I wanted, I paid for it and the waiting ensued. The whole process took just under 7 weeks and then I got the notification that it was in the mail, which was the really nerve racking part for me. Here is this tiny package that you paid thousands of dollars for, in international mail. But, they used this service called DHL which I had never heard of, but they did an amazing job keeping me updated with exactly where my package was. I made sure to be home when it was scheduled to be delivered and the courier called me when they were at my home. You can opt out of the signature and face to face meeting if you’re at work, but I opted to have it put directly into my hand. Of course, I immediately opened it to inspect every single detail. I will say that the box leaves a little bit to be desired, it’s definitely not as nice as some other brands but, it’s a box, right? I am a hobby woodworker, so I just went ahead and made my own box for it but even if you keep the box, your partner is probably not going to give a darn about what the box looks like. The ring itself was just incredible. It sparkled like you’d hope it would under the light and I was able to breathe this huge sigh of relief. I got out my magnifying glass and looked it over and the craftsman ship is absolutely spot on. The marquise cut Australian opal was perfectly and securely set into the rose gold. Each of the six diamonds surrounding it were perfect, too. So, all I can say to you if you’re also considering taking the leap on an over sea’s company for your engagement ring, wedding band, or what ever really, do it. You will not be disappointed with it. They also give you the option to pay with PayPal so that you have that extra peace of mind that your money is insured until you have your product in your hand and even after. I hope this review helps you as I know, for me, online reviews from real people are really helpful and important to me when making decisions, especially one as expensive as this. Good luck!
