Sapphire Engagement Rings

Our sapphire engagement rings are handmade to order in our studio in Slovenia, where we have been crafting fine jewelry since 2012. Explore more than 280 designs in deep blue, peacock teal, peach, lavender, padparadscha and beyond.

Pick your metal and, on most designs, your stone color. Our jewelers then craft your ring by hand and ship it free with insured express delivery worldwide.

Shop Sapphire Engagement Rings for Your Love Story

Start with the color that catches your eye, then shop by shape: oval, pear, round, cushion, emerald, hexagon, marquise, kite, trillion, shield and more. Next, choose a setting, from a quiet solitaire to a halo, cluster, three-stone or toi et moi design.

Unlike mass-produced engagement rings, every ring here is made to order for one love story: yours. Found a design you love? Choose your size and metal, add it to your cart, and we take it from there.

What Makes Our Bespoke Sapphire Jewelry So Special

We are a jewelry studio, not a factory. Every piece of bespoke sapphire jewelry we make is handcrafted by our own jewelers in Slovenia, never outsourced.

Combine that with stones you help choose and colors well beyond the usual bridal shades, and you get engagement rings and wedding bands with real character. Here is what goes into yours.

Gemstones Hand-Selected for Vibrant Color

Most of our sapphires come from trusted suppliers in Sri Lanka, with others from Montana in the USA and beyond. Each gem is picked for vibrant color, and every diamond and gemstone we use is conflict-free.

Want to see your stone before it is set? Ask which gems we have in the studio; for special requests, we can also source a few for you to compare.

Blue Sapphire, Pink Sapphire, Green Sapphire and Montana Stones

A classic blue sapphire is only the start of our color range. Teal and peacock teal make up our largest group, joined by Ceylon and pastel blues, peach, padparadscha, blush, lavender, mint green, white, orange, bicolor parti stones and black star.

For a US-sourced stone, the Elara two-ring set features a Montana sapphire. Prefer lab-grown sapphires? Our lab-created options include a peach kite ring.

Drawn to a different gem altogether? Explore our moss agate engagement rings or our color-changing alexandrite engagement rings.

Popular Sapphire Ring Styles: Vintage, Estate-Inspired and Modern

Love the look of an heirloom? Our vintage-inspired rings and Art Deco designs bring estate-style detail to brand-new jewelry, while floral, leaf and celestial settings add a romantic touch.

If you prefer clean lines, look to modern solitaires, toi et moi pairs and bold statement designs. Whatever the era, two choices shape the final look most: what sits beside your center stone, and the metal around it.

Sapphire Diamond Pairings and Sapphire Accents

A sapphire diamond pairing is the classic combination. In a halo, a ring of tiny diamonds frames your center stone and makes its color glow, while three-stone and cluster engagement rings often set diamond side stones beside your gem for balance.

For an earthier contrast, try a salt-and-pepper diamond next to your stone. A subtler option: sapphire accents in wedding bands and eternity rings add a flash of color that stacks easily with your engagement ring.

Yellow Gold, White Gold or Rose Gold Settings

Every design is available in 14k or 18k yellow, white or rose gold, and in platinum. Yellow gold makes peach, orange and padparadscha glow; white metals and platinum keep blues and teals crisp; rose tones flatter blush and lavender stones.

If you are torn, pick the metal that matches the jewelry you already wear every day, and carry it through to your wedding band.

Custom Sapphire Engagement Rings at Capucinne

Have a sapphire engagement ring in mind that you cannot find in our shop? Through our custom design service, you work one-on-one with our team. Share your style, inspiration photos and budget, and we turn them into sketches and 3D designs that we refine together.

Once you approve the design, we handcraft your ring in our studio; the whole process typically takes 6–8 weeks from our first conversation. Send us your ideas, and we will start sketching.

Matching Sapphire Wedding Rings & Bridal Sets

Planning ahead for the big day? Many designs come as bridal sets of two or three rings, with crown-style or curved bands shaped to hug your center stone.

If you have already chosen your engagement ring, shop our nesting wedding bands and eternity bands for a wedding stack that looks finished from day one.

Sapphire Engagement Rings FAQ

Quick answers to common questions about sapphire engagement rings. If yours is not here, our jewelry team is happy to help.

Is Sapphire Good for an Engagement Ring?

Yes, sapphire is a great choice for engagement rings: it is hard enough for daily wear and comes in a remarkable range of colors. It is also September's birthstone, a meaningful touch for anyone born that month.

Can I Design a Custom Sapphire Engagement Ring?

Yes, you can design one with our team from your own ideas, photos and budget. For most rings you can also simply choose another stone color, and for special requests we source stones for you to pick from (a deposit applies, deducted from the final price).

How long does a made-to-order sapphire engagement ring take?

Most made-to-order rings take 6–8 weeks to handcraft, and rush orders take 4–6 weeks. Shipping is free, insured and express worldwide; see our production and shipping details for more.

What is the best sapphire color for an engagement ring?

The best color is the one you will love wearing every day. Rich blues are the traditional choice, teal and peacock teal make up the largest part of our collection, and peach or padparadscha suit anyone who wants a softer, warmer stone.

Are sapphire engagement rings as durable as diamonds?

Almost: sapphire rates 9 on the Mohs hardness scale, second only to diamond at 10. That makes it one of the hardest gemstones you can wear every day and a practical alternative to diamond engagement rings. A lifetime warranty through Extend is available on request.

Do sapphire engagement rings only come in blue?

No, sapphire engagement rings come in many other colors. Alongside the classic deep blues, you can choose teal, peach, padparadscha, blush, lavender, mint, white, orange, bicolor and black star stones.

What is the price of a sapphire engagement ring?

Most of our designs start between about $1,800 and $8,300, while the full range of starting prices runs from around $650 to about $16,000. The final price depends on carat, color, metal and side stones, and 0% interest payment plans are available.

How do I find my ring size?

Use our ring size guide to work out your size. We also offer ring molds so you can check the fit, and most rings can be resized later for a fee.

Do you offer sapphire rings for men?

Yes, our men's wedding bands include sapphire styles such as the Noemi hexagon band and the Jordan, a wide band set with blue sapphires. We can also design a custom men's sapphire ring through the same one-on-one process.
